The Misfits Vocal Band -- nowhere near being misfits

A fantastic afternoon of rock'n roll with musicians from the era

It was a fantastic afternoon of oldie goldie rock'n roll tunes from the 50's and 60's courtesy of the Misfits Vocal Band. If you were there, you'd know that they are anything but misfits. 'The Misfits' are no misfits.

The group is under the direction of Greg Brown, founding member of the group 'Ocean' -- hit song: Put your hand in the hand. Tom Kingdom and Gerry Guyatt played in the Sonics (Peterborough's first Rock and Roll band). They were inducted into the Peterborough and District Pathway of Fame in 2008. They also played with Joey J. and the Jaguars.

St Luke's own Geoff Hewitson, a rock'n roller from back in the day, joined in singing Stand by me with the band.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to The Misfits Vocal Band for a rousing afternoon of great music!
