Spring High Tea at St Luke’s — a tasty outing

A great day for tea, fancy sandwiches and tasty treats

More than a hundred people came to St Luke's parish hall to enjoy the Spring High Tea event on Saturday afternoon. The Tea began at 1:30 pm and there were two seatings during the afternoon to accommodate the guests from the neighbourhood and nearby area of Peterborough.

Members of the Hurly Burly Ensemble provided a selection of music to accompany the delicious sandwiches and sweets. And of course, the tea was poured formally from the silver tea sets to add a touch of pomp and ceremony.

Thank you to all who attended the High Tea. We hope you enjoyed a pleasant outing and time with friends and family.

Our sincere thanks also to June and Kathy for organizing this parish event and to all those who assisted in any way. Thanks also to our younger folks who did a marvelous job with serving and helping.

Blessings to all!
